Question: Which do you like better?

Which one is better?

Help! I am trying to decide which portfolio version is better. I won’t get into the technical variations behind the scenes so I will have to try and show you the differences instead.

Test Portfolio Page

This is a screenshot of the Test Portfolio page. For this one, you click the picture of the gallery or group of photos that you want to see. Rows of photos will appear, and you can scroll through them. If you click one, it should appear in a slide show. (I might be wrong! Please let me know if I am mistaken.)

New Portfolio

If you click New Portfolio (in red for demonstration purposes), a list of submenus showing gallery titles will appear. Click the subject that interests you, and a gallery of photos should appear.

Both versions are much better than the previous one, and I am still adding photos to both versions. I think I know which one I like best but I am curious to hear what others have to say. Let me know here on the blog, on my Facebook page, or in a personal message if we are friends in real life.

Thanks!

  1. I like the first bersion (just click a picture), but it might be useful to be able to search for looking for specific themes, colours, dates, shows where the art appeared, etc.

    1. By colour? That might be hard to do with some. You are giving me great ideas for tags, and I guess that means I should check out the maximum number of tags per slide or per post. The site has a search function that works for this. I have to be more diligent about many things now that I learned the hard way that people are really looking at this site for their own purposes.
