Hitoko Fujisaki is having her annual show at the AC Gallery in Ginza, Tokyo. This year it is a group show that features traditional Japanese crafts who are sure to be oustanding. Did you see those cedar boxes in the photo? Have you ever had freshly cooked rice in such a bento box? The cedar perfumes the rice ever so slightly… Handcrafted ironware is not easy to find.

The gallery is in an old building in Ginza, and you have to go up a narrow staircase to the fourth floor. (Another gallery is on the third floor if you want to browse.) It is a two-minute walk from the B3 or B5 exit at the Ginza subway station. Even if you know the items are beyond your budget, drop by and show your support. The artists love any feedback. They might even take requests if you have any.
